Sam "Blackbird" O'Connell (40): Jesse's childhood best friend from Aberdeen. He moved from Portland to LA with Jesse and up until Emma moved in (before the two bought their own place), was also his roommate. Sam is on Jesse's payroll but he doesn't do much more than get him drugs when he wants them, drive Jesse's cars and reap the benefits of all the women Jay has no interest in when they go out. He has a culinary degree and occasionally cooks for Jay and Emma as well. He has a producer credit on the show.

Cory Laurent (30): Jesse's full time assistant. Cory runs mundane errands, answers phones, replies to e-mails and works out of Jay's office when she's not on the run. She travels with Jesse and there are rumors that the two are more than boss and employee. Those rumors are unfounded but have been around for as long as Cory's been employed by Jay, about 5 years. Personality: Cory is notorious for being a bitch to Rites of Passage fans on the show's and Jay's personal social media, for which she runs both. She's actually notorious for being a bitch in general, and very few people actually like her. Larissa wants her gone.

Larissa Kyle (50): Larissa is Jesse's manager and occasionally, his babysitter. She's also a producer on Rites of Passage. She accompanies him to events and keeps him from saying something that will require his publicist to do damage control on later. She's successful 50% of the time. 33% if we're being honest. She has a good relationship with Emma and the two women agree on most things when it comes to Jay and his problems. She can tend to be the voice of reason when asked to be but mostly keeps her opinions to herself unless she's doing damage control.

Bryan Jones (50): Jesse's lawyer and founder of his own firm Jones & Co. he's based out of both LA and NYC and has bailed Jesse out of jail, gotten charges dropped, and worked with his publicist to keep his client from completely self destructing in public. He's usually in a bad mood, except around Emma, who he loves and treats better than his own wife. He's a disgruntled, overworked man who fires assistants faster than he changes clothes but has always lit up around Emma. Jesse makes fun of him for this and so does his own wife.
