Zoe plays Mara Hemingway, a newly 30, newly single lawyer and Brooklyn native that up and leaves everything the night before her wedding and ends up in Portland where she quickly runs through her savings and takes a job as a public defender, despite it having been beneath her in the past. Personality: Zoe is a lot like the character of Mara. She claims a lot of things are "beneath her" and has developed a diva attitude since the show found success. She's known to have a thing for Jesse and when he frequents the set, she's always conveniently around. Dallas Evans (27): Rites of Passage's male lead and established musician. Dallas plays Logan Cross, a newly 30, secretly unhappily married Portland native who gave up a successful touring musician career to settle down with his his high school sweetheart who he suspects got pregnant to keep him from filing for divorce. Logan and Mara have carried on an affair since mid-season 2 and it's reported that the affair is carrying on off screen as well, behind Dallas' non-celebrity wife's back. Personality: Dallas is laid back and keeps to himself on set and off. He's been seen out to lunch several times with Zoe Taylor but has never confirmed or denied the affair, or the status of his marriage. The only person he doesn't get along with on set is Jay.
